S&P Raises Credit Ratings for Bank of North Dakota

Standard & Poor’s (S&P) raised Bank of North Dakota’s credit ratings in its latest review of the Bank released December 6, 2011. Its long-term issuer credit rating was raised to ‘AA-‘ from ‘A+’ and its short-term issuer credit rating to 'A-1+' from ‘A-1’. Rebuilder’s Loan Guidelines

A homeowner living in a residence that was damaged by the flood who lives in Barnes, Benson, Burleigh, McHenry, Morton, Ramsey, Renville, Richland or Ward County qualifies for this loan.  

Qualified homeowners may apply at their local bank or credit union. The maximum loan amount  to apply for is $30,000 or the actual amount of documented damage, whichever is less. Of the loan total, 20 percent may be used for debt service, debt retirement, other credit obligations, or to purchase flood insurance. The remaining 80 percent must be used for post-flood damage.  

Interest is a 1% fixed rate. There are no payments required for the first two years, however interest will accrue. After that, you will have monthly payments for 18 years. .
